One of the hardest parts on the journey to adoption is not knowing when your yes will come. Families take so much time to learn about adoption, prepare through education, ready their hearts and home, sign on with adoption agencies and then they enter the season of waiting. I spend a lot of time in this season with families reminding them that when an expecting mom chooses them to love and raise their child it will be worth every single ounce of faith and heart. As they wait they can be praying for these moms and her babies with purpose and love.
It was such an honor to walk with Matt and Kristina through their adoption story. Praying for them through each season as they held onto the hope of being able to love an expecting mom fully. And if she chose them with her forever, then her baby completely as well. I remember the day they received the call that would fully change their lives, and in that moment, every single ounce of the journey was worth the wait.
While they are settling into a new season as a family of four, I wanted to share with you that every adoption looks different, every season of waiting can feel stretching in a new way, but the perseverance in spirit will connect you to the most precious relationship of all.

Naya Rose is the sweetest girl and we have just seen so many things that confirm she is the girl God had planned for us. We can’t wait to see how she grows and see the person she becomes. When life can feel uncertain, we held onto hope that the Lord's timing is always the perfect timing, and Naya's mom was a true testament to that. We will spend every single day of her life honoring her birth mom and loving her fully. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being there for us through each and every step of this journey."
